Singapore Flyer

I had the opportunity to spend some time with Meg recently & so I decided to add one more category to my blog - 'Family Activities'. It might come in useful to those who're scratching their heads on where to bring the family to for some fun.

So where did we go for our family fun?

But it was a real shame that it was raining cats & dogs the entire day. We could barely see anything afar :(

It was however Meg's 2nd visit & the 1st thing she did was to plant herself at a corner of the cabin to read her book. That's all she did throughout the entire ride. =.=

Now you see from whom I'd inherited my cam-whoring genes from :p

A word of caution. The ride lasts for approximately 30mins but 10mins into the ride, and you'll be wondering how to keep yourself occupied other than cam-whoring.

Check this out! This was taken in 2008. I'd purposely chosen to wear the same top so that I can make a comparison. On hindsight, I probably shouldn't cos it only serves  to emphasize how much I'd aged & ballooned! Mixed emotions surfaced while reading the old post. Sadly, what's gone will never come back.

Treated all to a nice dinner at Seafood Paradise @ Flyer

Overall, on the yummilicious meter, I'd rate it 7/10

Sherry's birthday

Celebrated Sherry's birthday in "Ten Dollars Club KTV @ Aranda Country Club". That's our current fav hangout joint - cheap but good!

Mad loving these awesome cupcakes from The Cupcake Couture. I'm swooning over the chocolate cupcake with peanut butter frosting - worth every bit of calorie!

Wrapping our pretty birthday girl up as a gift

Lovable 傻大姐 Serina trying on my nerd glasses

*smooches* You are very loved babe!

My gift to Sherry - one of a kind gorgeous handmade anklet from KiKi Culte. I'm now so tempted to get an anklet for myself too!

Happy birthday sweetie!

Wherever my pink boots take me - Gilroy Premium Outlets, CA

I am pleased to announce that this is the last of my USA post! Woot! Blogged from April till December. Gosh ……. that took me more than half a year to churn this out :p Thanks for tahaning (bearing) with me people :)

Dim Sum breakfast in Chinatown

All ready for battle in Gilroy Premium Outlets. Last buy!

The insane amount of gels & lotions that I purchased from Bath & Body Works

Most of them sacrificed lunch for shopping but it's the other way round for me :p

Mission accomplished & I was completely knackered!

Dinner time

I swear I never had that much Chinese food in my entire life as compared to those past few days in USA

We simply can't resist even though food was coming out through our noses. We're only human afterall.
I don't understand why their pizzas tastes so much yummier. Seeing that it was our last night, we just had to have one last pizza. Don't ask me how we managed to stuff everything in.

After all those food the night before, the first thing that we did when we woke up was to eat again. Looking back, it's no wonder I look like I do now. Sigh ……..

Getting ready for our long haul flight back, hence the bare faces. I'll let you in on a secret. I have perfect eyesight :p Sssshhhh…..

Guess what we did when we reached the airport? EAT AGAIN! Overdosed on Chinese food & thus we were over the moon to see a Japanese restaurant. I can't get enough of the Bud Light, so one last bottle before I say my goodbye.

Transited in Korea's Incheon International Airport. Joe & I had been talking about Korea's authentic kimchi for the longest time. We had less than an hour to spare & so while the rest made a dash to the duty free shops, Joe & I made a beeline for the restaurant.

Haha ….. but guess what? I managed to gobble everything down in record time & even found time to grab some facial masks! *happiness*

Came home to the warmest welcome from Meg. I feel so loved!

Blogging about the USA trip is bittersweet. What fond memories they are. I'm sure going to miss everyone some of the awesome folks in Pfizer. Well, it was fun while it lasted but I guess it's time to move on.

Wherever my pink boots take me - San Francisco, CA

Here's the continuation to the previous post on San Francisco
Fishermans Wharf

We just had lunch but we're not leaving without tasting the famous crab & clam chowder

Next stop

I can't resist posting these pics. These 2 were way cute!

We had so much fun jumping around :D

That we just can't stop doing it!

I had the best fun ever travelling with these ladies

Busy busy day of non-stop sight-seeing

Golden Gate Bridge

Attempted a panoramic shot but the battery died on me soon after

At long last, we're finally at our hotel in San Francisco

Took this shot from my room when the rest went clubbing. I chose to stay cos I was getting too home-sick & feeling really down. I was missing Meg like mad! I get this way everytime I travel without Meg.  But 1 more day & I'll be flying home!
