Noxologous - Dogs

I like dogs. Unequivocally.

But like most people, I instinctively retract my face whenever a dog tries to lick it.

But I've learnt not to do it.

Because we do not usually retract our hands when someone tries to shake it.

I see no reason why.

A human being is any more sincere in offering a greeting with a hand.

Than a dog trying to lick your face.

And I see no reason why.

I would want to hurt a dog's feelings.

More than I would a human being's.

Meg had just left for Penang with her dad & I'm having real trouble falling asleep without her right next to me. So I'll attempt 1 more post before I head off to bed.

I'm having the irrepressible urge to finish blogging about my USA trip ASAP. God knows it's taken long enough. But more than that, I needed to get it out of my system. Reminisce? Exorcise? *shrugs* Whatever.

If you guys are going to Las Vegas, make sure you buy your discounted show tickets & even food vouchers from 'Tix 4 Tonight' booths.

Dinner was at the most happening place in Vegas - Tao Asian Bistro & Nightclub

 Kim Kardashian & many celebrities frequently patronize this joint when they're in Vegas.

Ambience aside, the food was amazing. Asian fushion but too bad that it's too dark for the pics to look good.

It's a good thing we had dinner there or we'd never be able to gain access into the club. The line in was absolutely snaking!

Shabuya shabu-shabu

Shabuya shabu-shabu is located right next to Tajiyama Yakiniku, and part of the restaurant chain. After trying out the Japanese charcoal grill last week, we decided to go for shabu-shabu this time around.

We ordered the dinner set priced at $68 for 2 (came up to almost $100 after drinks & taxes) which consists of salad, sashimi, rice/udon, Wagyu beef, pork collar, chicken, fish paste, vegetable platter, & dessert. After the fantastic Yakiniku experience, I left a little disappointed. There's really nothing to rave about & the soup base is a tad bit bland. My biggest grouse however, is the benches. It's so far from the table that I left the restaurant with a backache :p

Verdict: I'd suggest you put your money in Tajiyama instead.
